The concept of human being in the short stories of Ahmad Nadeem Qasmi

Ahmad Nadeem Qasmi one of the eminent literary figure of Pakistan. He is one
of those writers who had done great work in Urdu Literature. He has depicted the
different real life problems of human beings in his writings. Qasmi has a unique
personality in terms of fiction. His fiction is very broad in terms of themes. Qasmi
has been distinguished by his idea of humanism in his writings. In Urdu (short
story) Qasmi presented the dignity of human being. In fact his writings are the
representation of poor and suppressed human beings. Assuredly, the subject of
most ahmad nadeem qasmi’s works is the ascension of humanity and respect for
humanity. In this regard his short story “I am a human being” and the poem “Man
is great” are the best reflection of Qasmi’s concept of man.
