Author Guidelines for Writing an Article for Submission to the Journal

  1. General Formatting
  • Font: Use Times New Roman in English manuscript.
    • Use Jameel Noori Nastaleeq in Urdu manuscript.
    • Use Sakkal Majjalah in Arabic manuscript.
  • Font Size:
    • Main text: 12 pt
    • Headings (if used): 14 pt, bold
    • Subheadings (if used): 12 pt, bold
    • Footnotes and references: 10 pt
  1. Page Layout
  • Margins: Set all margins to 1 inch (2.54 cm) on all sides (top, bottom, left, and right).
  • Line Spacing: Use 1.15 line spacing throughout the entire document, including the references section.
  • Alignment: Align the text to the left. Do not justify the text (i.e., no full text alignment).
  • Paragraphs: Leave a 1.5-inch (1.27 cm) indentation at the beginning of each paragraph.
  • No extra spaces between paragraphs.
  1. Title and Author Information
  • Title: The title should be in bold, 14 pt, and centered at the top of the first page.
  • Author Information: Below the title, include the following information (centered):
    • Full name(s) of the author(s).
    • Institutional affiliation(s) (e.g., department, university or research institute).
    • Corresponding author's email address and ORCID (if applicable).
  1. Abstract
  • Length: Provide an abstract of between 200-250 words.
  • Font: Use 12 pt Times New Roman, and it should be in a single paragraph (no headings or bullet points).
  • Keywords: After the abstract, list 3-7 keywords relevant to your article, separated by commas.
  1. Body of the Article
  • Sections and Subsections: Organize the manuscript into clear sections (e.g., Introduction, Methods, Results, Discussion, and Conclusion).
  1. References
  • Islamic names and Terminologies should be in Transliteration form(visit journal website)
  • Reference Style: 17th edition of the Chicago Manual of Style
  1. In-text citations: In-Text Citations (Footnotes or Endnotes)

  • Subsequent citations:
