The imperative to invite others to the path of Allah (دعوت الی اللہ) is a fundamental obligation in Islam, particularly emphasized after the completion of the prophetic mission. The Muslim community is tasked with the responsibility of promoting righteousness ('Amr bi'l-ma'rūf) and forbidding evil (Nahi 'an al-munkar). Given the significance of this duty, Muslims across the globe, including Pakistan, have been actively engaged in this endeavor. Throughout history, numerous scholars and institutions in Pakistan have dedicated themselves to propagating Islamic teachings. These efforts have produced scholars of international repute who have contributed significantly to the global Islamic discourse. Madrassas (Islamic seminaries) have played a pivotal role in shaping generations of Islamic scholars and leaders. Institutions like Wifaq ul Madaris al Arabia, Jamia Uloom-e-Islamia Binori Town, Jamia Abu Bakar al-Islamiya, Jamia Darul Uloom Haqqania, and Al-Mahd al-Ali al-Islami have been at the forefront of Islamic education in Pakistan. These institutions have produced countless scholars whose fatwas (religious rulings), books, and teachings have preserved and disseminated the Islamic heritage. This essay will delve into the specific institutions and centers in Pakistan that are actively involved in the invitation to Islam. We will explore the various services they provide in promoting Islamic values and teachings both within Pakistan and beyond.”
